"The Assassination of President Kennedy" will explore the key conclusions of the controversial Warren Commission, as well as the shocking impact of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, ahead of the 50th anniversary on November 22.
A CNN iReporter remembers this: "I was in fourth grade in Catholic school when President Kennedy was shot. There was a sudden crackling on the school PA system, the sound of the mike being put up against a radio. And then we heard the news. We were all herded into the church to pray then released early from school." http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1051622

I walked in to a cafeteria across the street from where I worked. I had just had my 18th birthday. A man I worked with said, "the President has been shot!" I told him he wasn't funny and that was a terrible thing to say. To my dismay, he wasn't joking. It was the most traumatic event in my life, as traumatic as 9/11.
